At NexDo, making it as safe as possible to access essential health and wellness services has always been our key priority. The importance of this mission has become clearer than ever this year.
As New Zealand is at Level 1, NexDo’s prime focus is on the health and safety guidelines that we share with our professionals. The guidelines we adhere to is in line with the NZ government’s protocols.
1. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Professionals will wear masks/facial coverings and/or gloves when providing the service(s) as an enhanced safety measure.
Customers may share special requests around cleanliness prior to the professional arriving at their home or workplace. We request that customers use their own face masks.
2. Cleanliness Practices
Providers are following NZ government guidelines on handwashing or using hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol content. Professionals are asked to remove shoes upon entering homes and workplaces, and to wash hands thoroughly prior to beginning each service. Best practice for the industry is to disinfect equipment before and after every home service provided.
3. Provider Wellness
Every day, our professionals are asked to confirm that they do not display any symptoms of COVID-19 or other infectious illnesses through the NexDo Professional app. We also encouraged them to perform daily temperature checks. On the other hand, NexDo ask customers to refrain from booking home service(s) if they display COVID-19 symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who is under isolation or quarantine.
